Zac Efron shares an an on-screen smooch with his costar Leslie Mann in their new movie 17 Again.
On Friday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Mann, 35, shared about her 10-year-old daughter’s obsession with Zac.
She said, “My daughter, Maude, who’s 10, is in love with Zac Efron. And I just did a movie with him called 17 Again, where he plays a grown man in a 17-year-old’s body. He plays my husband. So, we got to kiss, which was very exciting for Maude. When I got home from work after doing the kissing scene, she ran up to me and licked my face because she wanted to taste Zac Efron’s spit.”
FYI: Mann is wife of director/producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, Superbad). They also have a daughter Iris, 5.
WHAT DO YOU THINK Zac Efron’s spit tastes like??

Zac News This is from Just Jared. Read the first blog. http://www.justjared.buzznet.com/zac-efron
The dashingly handsome Zac Efron takes costar Leslie Mann for a spin around the dance floor in this new movie still for 17 Again. Mann, 35, plays the wife of Efron, 20, and costar Matthew Perry, 38. Efron and Perry play the same character (Mike O’Donnell)–just at different times.
Says Zac, “The idea of going back to high school as an adult is incredible…until you actually get there! It’s like this crazy twilight zone of adolescent insecurities and people trying to grow up and figure out what they want to do with their lives. It’s crazy in the movie. Nothing comes out right when you’re a teenager. You say the wrong thing. You just do. It’s a part of life. It’s a part of growing up. One of the funny parts of this movie is that every year kids change—youth culture is changing all the time. Even now, when I go back to a high school campus, it really is like a frighteningly new place!”

Zac News For those who just can’t wait for the third and final installment of High School Musical, wait no more. The cast is currently recording the soundtrack and rehearsals for the movie are due to start in March. Corbin Bleu gave TV Guide some hints of what’s to come: “It’s [about] graduation, senior year, prom… all that goes into it. And there’s going to be a school production as well. I have seen the first draft of the script, and [my character] Chad’s got a lot to do. I think the major thing for him in this movie is he’s leaving this world of high school that he’s been so attached to all these years — he’s going to be pulled out of his element — and that is a bit of a hard transformation for him.”
Bleu is already feeling the difference between the small-screen High School Musicals and the new motion picture. “There’s obviously a bigger budget and the grandeur is on a higher scale,” he says. “I know it’s felt in the music, from what we’ve heard, and I know once we start filming we’ll see the difference there, too.”
Ooooh Cant WAIT!!!

Zac News
New behind-the-scenes shots of Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg in their new movie 17 Again will be featured in the April 2008 issue of teen mag J-14.
In the mag, actress pal Miley Cyrus said, “Zac Efron and I have become best friends, and all these girls are like ‘you’re so lucky, he’s so hot’. …I give him the hardest time about it. He’s like my brother.”
Producer Adam Shankman recently chatted up 17 Again: “This is about a man whose life has not gone the way he wants it to, so he wishes he was 17 again and he gets his wish. And then he’s realizing it’s nothing like he thought it would be. So it’s a reverse Big. It has as many funny scenes in it as it does heartfelt scenes.”
17 Again opens this summer — August 2008!

Zac News Last month, Hollywood.com visited the set of 17 Again to chat with stars Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg.
By Emily Christianson, Hollywood.com Staff
Stopping by the set of Seventeen Again, we thought we might get to see a little action. The plan was to shoot a beach party in Santa Monica with stars Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg front and center, but the strong ocean breeze blew those plans right out of the water. Luckily, Hollywood.com did catch the costars for a quick chat inside Trachtenberg’s trailer, before the duo took off to film an alternate scene at an undisclosed location.
Hollywood.com: We just heard the beach bonfire scene had to be postponed because of the weather. So what other fun scenes have you been working on?
Michelle Trachtenberg: I felt really bad because the other night I had to slap Zac and that was really hard for me to do. There were like three takes and he was such a trooper. His face was burning red and I was like, “I’m sorry!” He was like, “Just do it. Come on!” He was so funny.
Zac Efron: The thing about slaps on camera is there are so many ways to do it wrong!
