Are They Back Together or Not?

Could it be true? Last I heard they were not seeing each other. All those rumors. I do not know if it is true or not, but Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were caught kissing. Yes, there is a picture. According to www.thesun.co.uk, they were seen kissing at the LA Lakers vs. Utah Jazz game in Salt Lake City. I believe that Ashley Tisdale was also at the game with them.
I know that many of you are going to disagree, but they do make a cute couple.

“High School Musical star 19-year-old Vanessa Hudgens’ recipe for red carpet success is pairing simple hair and makeup with uber glam gowns. Case in point? Her loose waves and gold sequin Marc Bouwer cocktail dress at the 2007 American Music Awards,” said Stylelist.com.
If you are wondering if they know that Zac is 20, they do.
“Yes, Zac Efron turned 20 this year, but we just can’t get it through our thick heads!” explained Stylelist. “Wearing a perfectly tailored suit and skinny tie at this year’s SAG Awards, the star looks poised to steal George Clooney’s title as king of the red carpet.
Congratulations to them both.

It’s a sequel to two of the most successful cable movies of all time — a one-off that became a franchise that became a veritable license to print money for Disney and stars like Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens. So now that “High School Musical” is making its first trip to the big screen with the series’ third installment, the talent behind the toe-tapping tale must be feeling the pressure to succeed big time, right?
“We’re not,” star Monique Coleman casually told reporters during a recent press conference the day before filming began on “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” “We’re making another movie. I know, personally, I’m not going in there tempted to do it better, but just to do it justice.”
“It’s hard to look at it as a pressure, because we’ve been looking forward to this for so long,” Efron echoed. “We’re not looking to top anything.”
The stated desire to just keep on trucking is an unfamiliar refrain for any follow-up, let alone one that’s spawned so much. But, then, what’s made “HSM” a success in the first place has always been its utter lack of pretense, insisted Hudgens, who said the story for the next installment will follow a similarly accessible theme.
“The characters you see are a little over-the-top and stuff, [but] they’re people that go to high school,” she said of the continuing adventures of Sharpay, Troy and Gabriella. “Like, you have the brainiac who is in charge of the clubs and everything, you have the new girl who comes to school, and you have the jock. [But] they’re all real characters that you know and see in high school.”
But whereas the first two films dealt with adolescent love and angst, Efron confessed that this film deals with love and angst of a different kind — an adult kind…. Continue Reading

And the Golden Popcorn may go to… Angelina Jolie, Zac Efron, Ellen Page and the guys from Superbad!
Nominations were announced Tuesday for the MTV Movie Awards – airing June 1 on the cable network – and Jolie is up for best villain, Efron will vie for breakthrough performance, and Juno’s Page is up for best female performance.
Jolie will face off against Denzel Washington, Javier Bardem, Johnny Depp and others in the best villain category.
Page’s Juno costar Michael Cera will square off against his Superbad costars Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse for breakthrough performance. Their buddy comedy leads the pack of nominated films, earning five nods in total, including best comedic performance for Hill and best movie. Juno follows with four nominations, including best kiss for Cera and Page. (See the complete list of nominees here.)
Other highly nominated films include: Enchanted, Transformers, Knocked Up and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End – each receiving three nominations.
This year, fans will select the winners of the coveted golden popcorn trophies by voting online before May 23. The show, hosted by Mike Myers, will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.

HSM3: First Day Includes Police Escort
Posted by Chrissy under Zac NewsE! Online: Ashley Tisdale was escorted around the set by a police officer who never left her side, except when cameras were rolling. E! News’ set spy said she looked really sad. She never cracked a smile and did not socialize with anyone, except Vanessa Hudgens, who wasn’t working but showed up late in the afternoon to hang out.
It’s worth noting that Tisdale, who plays the spoiled Sharpay, was done up in a pink cowgirl costume, which might make anyone a bit glum.
Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Ryne Sanborn and Chris Warren were also on hand, shooting classroom scenes. Though all the actors had their own well-guarded trailers, the guys tended to hang out on set and chat with extras and crew.
Olesya Rulin wore sunglasses indoors all day. The extras got a kick out of that Hollywood-esque move.
Director Kenny Ortega personally directed the extras and was “extremely gracious to all of us,” said our set source. “He was carrying around Ashley’s dog all day. He was holding it as if it lived in his arms.”

The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year participates in the start-of-production press conference at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday.
Who showed up? Director Kenny Ortega, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu.
Principal photography will kick off tomorrow, May 3. The all-new HSM3 feature film will be shot on location in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is set for release in theaters October 24, 2008. High School Musical 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy and Gabriella facing the prospect of separation as they head off to different colleges. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future. With incredible new music and exciting dance numbers designed to take maximum advantage of the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment from East High’s talented ensemble.

Zac Efron shows off his washboard abs in a shirtless moment on the set of High School Musical 3 at a top secret location in Utah on Friday.
Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was not far behind showing off some leopard-print undergarment. Zac was also seen wearing a Wildcats (ROAR!) basketball uniform, carrying a Nordstrom shopping bag and a stick (presumably for stick ball).
Per usual, Zanessa was spotted holding hands. Everybody now… Awww!
