How Zac Efron Knew He Was in Love

Posted by chel under Zac News

Bop Magazine (June/July issue) asked Zac Efron “I Knew I Was in Love…”

“I once sang to a girl on my guitar. I don’t think you can describe the feeling of being in love, though.”

How sweet! Singing to a girl that you like is a great idea. The fact that he come up with that idea, and pick the song that he was going to sing, shows he put a lot of thought in it.

Zac’s First Kiss

Posted by chel under Zac News

Do you remember your “real” first kiss? I have thought about it, and I still cannot remember.  According to Bop  Magazine (June/July), Zac Efron remembers.

“My first real kiss was in a tree house when I was in
fifth grade.  It was over a game of Truth or Dare, but
it turned into a game of ‘make out with the other
person.’”  Efron continues, “I was like the only boy
and there were a bunch of girls up there.  I was
definitely nervous!”

I guess that would make anyone nervous.  What I am
surprised about is the fact that they tree house
stood up to that many girls.

Zac’s Advice on Bullies

Posted by chel under Zac News

M Magazine (May 2008 issue) asked Zac Efron, “When I was 13, I wish I knew…

“Back when I was in school, I wish I knew how to handle haters,” Efron told M Magazine. “I wasn’t bullied constantly, but I really feel for kids who have people picking on them all the time. It can make going to class hard!”

Zac continues, as he gives advice to his fans. “The advice I have for any fan that is dealing with a bully is this. The best thing you can do is to try and level with the people who are hating on you. Maybe if you talk it out, you can come to an understanding. I know that it’s so much easier said then done, so before you try approaching you bully, come up with a plan. Spend an hour or two thinking about it after school and you’ll usually be able to figure it out.”

One of many things that is important to Zac is to make sure the bullies do not stop his fans from following their dreams. “The toughest thing about growing up is taking a risk, Zac said. “If you never get out of your comfort zone, you’ll never be able to achieve your goals, whatever the may be.”

I agree. I know how it is to give up some of my goals, and it feels awful. Every time I think about it and see other people do it, I get depressed. So, do not give up on any of your goals, bullies or not. You can achieve them.

American Idol

It is no secret that I love watching American Idol, but it looks like that I am not the only one. According to M Magazine (May 2008 issue), Zac Efron also loves watching it.

“I like that it deals with regular people who really have a dream and like to perform.”

Even though I like the fact that Simon tells it like it is, I feel that Paula is better with her opinion by not stating it in a hurtful way. If she doesn’t like the performance, she will come back with something positive about the singer or something else.

“I tend to agree with Simon most of the time. But my favorite judge is Paula– she’s a real sweetheart!”

What You May Not Know About Zac

Posted by chel under Zac News

Bop Magazine (May 2008) asked Zac Efron about things people do not know about him. Here are a few of them.

Zac is like many actors and actresses, preferring to do their own stunts, “stunts are fun especially if there’s a risk involved.” Interesting, I would have to say that I would do the stunt only if it was an easy one, but on the harder stunts I would definitely use a body double.

I am bad about remembering phone numbers. Even if I write them down, I could lose the paper I wrote it on. That is not the case for Zac, “if people need to remember a phone number and they don’t have a pen, then I’ll just tell them to me because I won’t forget. It just comes from studying lines.”

I am not sure what I would do if I met some of my favorite celebrities. Even though they are just people, I would still get star stuck. That is also true for Zac, “I had never been more starstruck than in my Hairspray scene with John Travolta, I freaked!”

When Zac Eron Realized He Was Famous

Posted by chel under Zac News

Tiger Beat (May 2008)asked Zac when did he know he was famous.

“…I was at a Cheetah Girls’ concert and a little
girl came up and asked for an autograph.  I said yes
and pretty soon the whole audience wanted one.  So
many people came that security had to escort me out of
the building.  They sort of threw me outside in a back
alley and said I couldn’t come in until the concert
started.”

That would be a big sign that you are famous.
