Zac Efron admits to J-14, January 2009 Issue, about when he meets a girl that he likes.

“When I like a girl. I’ll blush and start telling bad jokes.”

One of the things that J-14 likes about Zac is how he treats a girl.

It has been reported that Zac Efron ate doggie cupcakes, according to http://celebrities.ninemsn.com.au.

“Vanessa bought her pet dog Shadow some cakes from upscale pet store The Wagging Tail in Santa Monica,” says a source, “She left them on the counter and Zac ate a few.”

If you are thinking what I am thinking - - gross I have never seen cupcakes for dogs, but I would think that they would be hard? Then again, maybe not. I know that dog bones are.

It has been said that Zac did not notice a difference.

“He said they were good, if a little bland,” says the source.

Next time ask before eating something. even if it is your girlfriends or boyfriends house… Just to make sure.

Zac Efron Has Done It Again

Zac Efron has done it again. He is showing how caring he is. On December 19, 2008, Zac took time out of his schedule to visit critically ill patients at the Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA in Los Angeles, according to www.aceshowbiz.com.

Zac spent around two hours touring the hospital, visiting with the patients, signing autographs, posing for pictures and handing out $10,000 worth of toys with the help from Gifts.com. Some of the toys that were handed out were electronic keyboards, Tickle Me Elmo dolls, art sets, board games and “High School Musical” products.

A source that saw Zac’ visit told US Weekly, he “really spent time bonding with each of the children and their families.” He “was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there.”

Zac also signed autographs and posed in pictures for the staff.

“The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear,” the source added. “Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible.”

Looks like Zac is spreading Christmas cheer. It is better to give than receive and that he did.

Laker Fans?

According to www.celebrity-gossip.net, Zac Efron and his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens were spotted at a Lakers Game at Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 16, 2008. The Lakers were playing the NY Knicks. It was a close game 116-114.

This is not the first time they have been at a Lakers game. Looks like they could possibly be fans.

Vanessa’s 20th Birthday

According to by Cristina Gibson, writer for www.eonline.com, Zac celebrated Vanessa’s 20^th Birthday by being alone together.

It is said that she was going to have her party at Bar Marmont, and she even set out invitations. But Vanessa decided not to have the party at the last moment.

“She canceled because she didn’t want the bad press because it’s a bar,” a restaurant source tells E! News. “She could have gotten in though, because they serve dinner as well”

Vanessa and Zac spent the day alone. They decided to eat at Stanley’s Restaurant & Bar in Sherman Oaks. “She’s been here before,” Stanley’s manager Luis Morales tells E! “They came in for lunch and sat by themselves. We don’t bother them much.”

Zac also gave her flowers and a gift.

Sounds like she had a good birthday. I know I would have loved it.

Zac May Still Go to College

Before High School Musical, Zac was thinking about college. As a matter of fact he was accepted into University of Southern California, according to www.timesoftheinternet.com.

“I was accepted to the film program, but I deferred,” Efon told Tiger Beat.

Even though he is not going now, that doesn’t mean he will not attend the University later on in life.

“Eventually,” he said. “But not at this moment.”

College will always be there. You are never too old to go.

Had to Catch Up

Zac Efron had showed up for rehearsals on High School Musical 3 late, and he had a lot to catch up on.

“I showed up to rehearsals a few weeks late because I was working on a different project – the worse mistake of my life,” Efron tells J-14 in the October/ November 2008 Issue. “I was thrown into a number of dances, which were extremely difficult , I was a little bit intimidated, but after a few of rehearsals, we got it done. I worked closely with (our choreographers) Chuckie and Bonnie. It was though. I spent a lot of time in the hot tub.”

I have not yet seen the movie, but I have heard that the dance scenes were hard. I have also heard that Vanessa helped him out a lot.

Too Shy

Can you believe that Zac Efron was not a cool kid in school? But it was true.

“I was never the cool kid. I was sort of a bookworm,” Zac told J-14 ( October/ November 2008 Issue).

Even his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, was the same way. “Growing up. I was shy and quite. Since (HSM) started. I’ve become independent and I’ve learned to make friends.”

What Brittany Snow Said About Zac Efron

According to Lupe Lasano, writer for www.timesoftheinternet.comm, Brittany Snow who worked with Efron in Hairspray as Amber Von Tussle, had some nice things to say about Zac.

“I would have to say Zac is one of the hottest guys I’ve worked with,” Snow said. “He’s such a good person, and that means a lot.”

That seems to be the trend with the girls who have acted with Zac.

Brittany Snow has also been in the movies The Pacifier, On the Doll and Finding Amanda just to name a few.

Was Zac Efron The Teacher Pet

“The first impression you make on your teacher is a big one, so make it good because later in the year they’re gonna help you out. I’ve learned that from experience,” Zac told J-14 (September 2008 issue). ” I haven’t bribed a teacher, but I make sure to give them gifts on all the holidays. I was the one who every morning said, ‘Good morning Miss So-and-So. How are you?’”

I am sure with all the charm that he has it was easy to pull off. I cannot even remember if I gave gifts to my teachers. I may have done so with my favorite ones.

Zac Efron’s Advice on Bullies

In the September 2008 issue of J-14 Magazine, Zac tells them how he deals with bullies.

“Always try to remember that bullies want to bring you down because you have something that they admire.”

That is great advice and please remember it.

The Fishes Are Where?

I am sure that Zac Efron has had his heart broken before. He gives advice for J14 (Demember 2008 issue).

“Step back and look at the big picture. My mantra is. ‘I’m one person on this planet that inside this huge universe. Does it really Matter?’”

At first you are going to be upset, but his mantra is good. Kind of like “There is more than one fish in the sea.” There are other people out there. Maybe this one was not meant to be.

Footloose

According to www.chinadaily.com.cn, Zac Efron is waiting for a ” mid-seven-figure salary and script approval” before he signs on to the movie Footloose.

“There’s a lot of wrong ways to do this movie,” Efron tells Variety magazine.

“It’s a matter of finding the right balance. Until we find it, I can’t fully ….. I can’t finish that sentence,” Zac said.

Finally Zac found the right words that he wanted to say,” Commit. Until I fully commit.”

Hairspray 2

According to EW, there is going to be a Hairspray 2.

“We just got an outline and some ideas from John Waters, and now we’re going out to writers,” director Adam Shankman tells EW.

That is exciting that they are ready for the writers.

The story will movie around Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) and her friends as they go through the”next era of music,” which will be the late 60s.

“That period was superpolitical,” Shankman said, “it was a time of serious change.”

.”We’re trying to track, in a comedic way, the historical elements.”

There is a rumor that Zac Efron will be coming back, but John Travolta will not be in this movie.

This should not be a surprise, Zac Efron is one of 2008’s Sexiest Men Alive, according to www.people.com.

New Heartthrob In Town

There is a new heartthrob in town, who is making girls/ women scream it is the British actor “Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson. But Zac Efron doesn’t mind.

“I’m stoked for him,” Zac told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts, talking about Robert.

“I’m gonna be there,” Zac said. “I’ll be watching ‘Twilight’ in theaters – probably opening night.”

You will not be the only one. Maybe Zac will come addicted to the movie and books like I am.

In the October / November 2008 Issue of Twist magazine, Zac Efron wrote this beautiful note to his girlfriend, Vanessa.

Zac is Still Zac

Starla Baskett, who is Zac Efron’s mother, says, “Zac was raised very grounded. He was busy here in town doing plays and all that.”

Zac Efron Vs. David Cassidy

As I have written before, Zac Efron will be doing a remake of “Footloose.” So how is thing going? According to Lawrie Masterson, who is a writer for heraldsun.com.au, “script is undergoing a rewrite with an older teen-young adult demographic in mind and new songs are being written to complement the movie’s title song and other standout tracks such as Let’s Hear It For the Boy.”

Efron will be working again with Kenny Ortega, the director of the High School Musicals.

“We’re still trying to figure out the right way to do it,” said Zac. “We want to put our own spin on it but, I’m sorry, I don’t really know how yet.”

It is hard to rewrite a great movie, but I am sure that they will be able to do it. I cannot wait until it is out. I will keep you updated, as soon as I hear anything.

Comparison

According to www.contactmusic.com, The Partridge Family heat throb, David Cassidy has been compared to Zac Efron.

“In the States they have been comparing me to Zac for a while now, I’m very flattered by the comparison - although I’m not too sure Zac would be. There might be some physical similarity - people often referred to me as androgynous-looking and I had a lot of gay fans,” said Cassidy.

Even though I was not growing up when The Partridge Family was being filmed, when I was younger I thought he was cute, but you also had to keep in mind I did not realize they got older. Picture the shock when I saw that Davy Jones for Monkees aged, but he was still in a way cute - - then there was the accent. Well anyway. What advice would Cassidy give to Zac?

“All I can say to Zac is that as long as he does good work, doesn’t lose his mind and stays grounded as a human being, he’ll be fine. He’d better fasten his seatbelt - it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”

Zac Talked to Michael Jackson

Scene That Was Taken Out of the Movie.

According to http://detnews.com, High School Musical 3 has grossed more than $40 million, which I am sure that the amount will be growing quickly.

According to Defamer.com, Zac’s shower scene was cut out of the movie to make it more family friendly.

That is a good choice because there are younger children that also like the movies, not just tweens ,teens and of course their parents. But why would the writer put that in when he or she knew that it was suppose to be a family friendly movie?
