Seventeen Again

According to Kris De Leon (she got her information for MTV.com), Buddy TV Staff Columnist, Zac Efron’s new comedy, “Seventeen Again,” will be out August 15th. Efron plays a younger verse of Mike O’Donnell, played by Matthew Perry (Friends), who gets transfer back into his seventeen-year-old body. Now Zac has to play a 40-year-old in that body.

“The idea of going back to high school as an adult is incredible…until you actually get there! It’s like this crazy twilight zone of adolescent insecurities and people trying to grow up and figure out what they want to do with their lives. It’s crazy in the movie,” said Zac.

I am not sure if I would want to go back. If it was possible, and if I did, I would be afraid that it would change things for the worse.

To make it look real, Zac took in from his father’s perspective. “Everything you do, you have to kind of view it from your dad’s perspective,” Efron continues, “I tried to do a few things that I learned from my dad…things that he thinks are cool but are really dorky. That seems to be working pretty well,” said Efron.

Again, this film will be released out in the theaters on August 15th, 2008. It also stars Buffy’s little sister, Michelle Tractenberg, Leslie Mann and Sterling Knight. With that cast and story line, you can’t go wrong seeing this movie.
